Questions

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • How does it feel?

The feeling is described by most patients as comfortable with no pain, only a slight tingling sensation with light pressure. Based on the depth and area treated this feeling can vary.

  • How many Treatments do I need?

Most physicians find that three to six treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart provide the optimal experience and outcome for patients.

  • How long does the treatment take?

The actual treatment takes about 20 - 45 min depending on the area to be treated

  • How long do the result last?

Everyone is different, but the collagen you make is your own and continues accelerated production over three months.

  • What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

Radio Frequency provides heat that stimulates collagen production, which has been found to lead to tighter, younger-looking skin. Combined with state-of-the-art microneedling patients experience optimal results.

  • Are results permanent?

Yes, once you’ve achieved your desired improvement in skin texture and tone, the results are permanent. Keep in mind that no aesthetic treatment can stop the aging process. Exposure to UV radiation, poor lifestyle habits and natural aging can make your condition return. We recommend maintenance treatments once or twice a year.

  • What happens during the procedure?

After discussing your aesthetic goals, your medical aesthetician will begin the treatment. It consists of placing a device with microneedles on small sections of your skin, then inserting the needles while delivering a quick burst of radiofrequency (RF) energy into the dermal layers. The energy can be emitted in continuous or micro-pulses, depending on your treatment needs. Once the entire surface of the treatment area has been covered, a protective cream will be applied and you’ll be able to go home.
